project
This Georgian building was extensively renovated and modernised and stood pretty much on its own in the landscape.
The brief was to design a classical English garden sympathetic to the buildings and environment.
The new sunken rose garden with over 250 roses and a wide variety of perennial plants offers fabulous views into the surrounding landscape. A pergola walk and a small avenue of box-head hornbeam frame this area of the garden.
Sheltered seating areas to the rear of the main house as well as a complete new walled garden with greenhouses were added to complete this stunning renovation project.
