A Garden in Germany

The design creates three very different areas, the entrance and patio spaces around the house, the lawn area with island beds, all of which create a transition into the woodland garden. The emphasis lies on creating strong vistas from the quiet woodland garden and the areas further away from the house. The planting is challenged by very cold winter weather and low light due to the exposition of the garden and very dry and at times extremely hot summers.
